VERSATILE AND VISUALLY APPEALING: THE OPTIGREEN NATURE ROOF
The green roof with a wide range of substrate heights and species diversity
Many cities and municipalities have now developed green concepts that not only specify that roofs should be greened, but in some cases also how. In many cases, there are already minimum requirements for substrate heights so that a correspondingly higher plant diversity can establish itself permanently. In the area of extensive to simply intensive green roofs, the Optigrün NATURE ROOF is the form of green roof that offers a wide range of substrate heights and species diversity and can therefore also achieve the highest ecological value.
Ecological compensation areas
The NATURE ROOF is a varied and visually appealing green roof solution. With a basic system structure of at least 100 mm and partial elevations of up to 250 mm, the NATURE ROOF system offers a greater variety in the choice of plants and can even be designed as a biodiversity area. The green roof is drained via the solid drainage system (FKD), which is suitable for roofs from 0-5°.
The NATURE ROOF is an intervention-reducing measure within the meaning of the intervention compensation regulation and contributes significantly to a reduction in charges in municipalities with split wastewater charges. The NATURE ROOF meets the requirements of the FLL Green Roof Guidelines.
