Sloping roofs, especially wooden roof constructions, often have limited load reserves. Pitched green roofs - such as our PITCHED ROOF 5-15° - are therefore usually designed as thin-layer extensive green roofs.

For roof pitches up to a maximum of 15°, single-layer extensive greening without surface shear protection is possible on the SSV 800 structural and storage fleece. With flow lengths of more than 6 m and with smooth synthetic waterproofing, there is a risk that the green roof structure may slip, for example during heavy rainfall events, on roof pitches of 10° or more. In order to prevent this, however, constructive measures should be taken to prevent shearing.
